Dr. Jayaraman has been my pulmonologist for 8 years. He is a kind and talented physician who cares deeply for his patients. I have been a patient of Dr J since approximately 2016. Dr J is not only brilliant and professional, he truly cares about his patients. He is not satisfied with just treating the symptoms like so many doctors I have seen in the past. He wants to determine the cause of the symptoms and illness and then treat it. After many years of unexplained recurrent pneumonias, Dr J suggested my problem may be a rare condition. Testing was performed and confirmed his suspicions. He is an excellent doctor!

I have been seeing Dr Jayaraman for the past 12 years and he has saved my life more than once. I was diagnosed with
COPD and have had multiple bouts of Pneumonia and hospitalized in each case. Dr Jayaraman took extra special care of me all through those hospitalizations and I have not had a bout of Pneumonia for a couple of years now. I can’t begin to say enough wonderful things about Dr. Jayarman. He literally saved my life! I saw Dr. Jayarman a few years ago when he was referred to me by my primary doctor. I had been diagnosed a few years back with COPD and nodules in my lungs. Dr. Jayarman started sending me immediately for CT’s and PET scans regularly for about 2 ½ years. Early in 2024, he noticed a nodule that was growing in my left lower lung. He told me that I needed a biopsy and where the nodule was located, it was going to be hard for anyone to do this biopsy. He sent me to MD Anderson where a biopsy was obtained and I was diagnosed with Small Cell Carcinoma, Stage 1. After a visit with my oncologist and his team, I was told that my kind of cancer was not usually diagnosed early and wanted to know how this came about. I told them that I had a dedicated pulmonary doctor that was watching over me and was sending me for regular testing. They told me that I was very fortunate to have a pulmonary doctor like Dr. Jayaraman. I underwent successful surgery of the nodule and surrounding lymph nodes and had chemotherapy for my small cell carcinoma. Thank you for your dedication to me for my wellbeing. I’m so very happy that you are my pulmonary doctor and thank you again for saving my life.
